Cody's First Road Trip

This weekend was Cody's first road trip. Cody did a great job in the car and in the hotel and even during the wedding.

The first night that we got there we met everyone for dinner at Bailey'e Pizza and Pub. It was a great resturant and her is Murray feeding Cody while we wait for our food.

Murray and I went to the REI Store Friday and of course right in the middle of the store Cody let us know that he was hungry.

We went to Wes & Amanda's house and hung out until the rehersal. The rehersal went well and then the really fun part. The Rehersal Dinner. Mr. Wayne and Mrs. Laura went all out and we all ate at "The Fiddilen Pig" they had Bluegrass and Barbeque. We had great food and a great time.

This is the lovely Bride to Be, Amanda, the night before the wedding. Doesn't she look calm!!!

Saturday was the Wedding and doesn't Murray look like a rock star in his tux!!! Hey Cody looks pretty cute too!

The reception was great too! We hung around and partied for hours. Cody was great even though the music was super loud!!!

The grooms cake was actually cup cakes with the Alabama "A" on them! Roll Tide Roll!

Cody pretty much slept the whole time, in my opinion, he was the hit of the party.. well right up until he peed all over one of the bridesmaids.

Well our first road trip with Cody was a success. Who knows where we will go next!

Anna Beth & Maddie Have a Playdate with Cody

Anna Beth gave Maddie her this new toy.

But I am pretty sure she is figuring it out himself.

They had a great time playing together. They can't wait for Cody to get bigger so that they can tell him what to do and boss him around.

Murray and I want to thank everyone who has brought us food and been here to help us. We are truly blessed with good friends and family who have showered us with gifts and food. Thank you from the Yance Estate.

Cody's First Week

Here is a wrap up of the first week of Cody Cooper's life.

There has been lots of naps with dad.

We get changed and diapered ALOT!!!

We like the bouncy, but I think dad likes it best.

Friends have come over to meet Cody. Daniel, Jennifer, Anna Beth, Kylie, Rodney, and Maddie.

Ben, Elizabeth, Harrison, and Clair also come to visit.

Aunt Gerry came and held Cody. He always needs some Aunt Gerry love.

We went to the Doctor for the first time and were given the all clear. Cody has lost some weight. He is now weighing in at 8lbs 14oz.

Mom, dad and Cody leave the house for the first time. So of course we have to take a picture.
