Well today we skied. We all had a blast. Here is Murray and Chandler with the snowboards.

Conner is already skiing like a champ on his second day.

Chandler is looking good, we are having to fight the ladies off with a ski pole.

Tyler has no fear and is way to cool to even hang out with Murray and I, by the way he thinks that we are too old! Hello we are not even 30 yet!!!

Group shots are always my favorite!

Day 3: First Day at Wolf Creek, Skiing

OK so we are all ready to head to the slope about 7am. Well dad was taking the picture but never the less a good looking crowd.

Patty and I are looking good getting ready to ski. (please remeber there will be more action shots later when I can download my very own pictures)

Patty is looking good. I think this was onlyher 3rd time skiing and if I do say so myself she did a great job.

Travis, Chandler and I skied all day while dad. Murray and Tyler stayed together. Conner was in Ski School and mom made it down one hill and was ready to stop. Never the less she looked good up there.

Murray is looking slim and trim in his skie gear.

Dad too is looking good!

Well our first day of skiing was great with beautiful weather, we can only hope for the rest of the week to be this great!

Day 2: Travel From New Mexico to Colorado

We had to go grocery shopping for all 9 of us for the week. Mom was a littel stressed out but all in all I think we came out pretty good. Look how good we look in the dairy ile.

There was then a 4 hour drive to Pagosa Springs, CO where there was not much snow but beautiful landscape.

We finnally arrive at the report and check in. Boy was I ready to get out of that truck.

Murray and I take a break while dad takes pictures. (note: I forgot the USB plug and will not be able to add my pictures until I get back)
Mom is in the kitchen while the rest of us wait for Travis and family to arrive.

Day 3 will be our first day of skiing and Murray and I can't wait!

Day 1: Arrival in New Mexico

We arrived in New Mexico safe and sound and in one piece. We had a coupleof hours to spare so we went to "Old Town" in Albuquerque, NM. There were all of these bronze statues of all different kinds of things. Look it is us, atanding in front to a woman on a donkey. I am sure that there is an ass joke I can make but I will spare you.

There is no way that dad can pass up a good photo op with a bronze pig!

I have finally met a friend that does not think I talk too much and that I have a stunning since of humor. Too bad the is made of some type of stone and can't fit in my suit case to come home with me, and tell me that all the time.
Murray and I try and have a movie moment and these to people try and steal our thunder! Ahhh the nerve. Everyone wants to be as cool as us. (it is so hard to be this good)

Finally we went to some historic Catholic Church that was kinda cool. This is mom, Jana and Murray looking good. The day ended with us staying the night at the Aire Force Base and and getting a good nights sleep. We will be up and ready to rock and roll first thing in the morning heading to Colorado!

Candice's Batch Party

The "Girls" went out to celebrate Candice's Last night of Freedom. Here is the invitation (created by Jana).

The "Gilrs" wnet to Destin and eat dinner and made Candice wear all the things!

We went to Howl at the Moon and had the best time with all the 80's music. This song is "Jump" by Van Halen.

Ok so durring this wonderful evening we encountered an odd character who will forever be known as "Crazy Dancer". Needless to say she can't dance. Check out her facial expressions!

We also encountered two sisters that we will forever call "Manface twins". Honestly this is the better looking of them both. They started the evening being known as "Scarf People", but we changed their names later in the evening.

We made sure that everyone knew how much Cando means to us and had it written on the board for all to see as the word of the day!
We even made sure that Candice came out of her shell alittle bit! Because the night was all about the Cando!

We had a wonderful time and laughed and danced! We hope to make this an annual event!
Candice is so special to us and we could not ask for a better friend!

Ski Trip @ "The Canyons" 2008

Murray, Mom, Dad, Tink, George and I went skiing in Park City, UT this year. We left Dothan on February 15th and returned home February 23rd. We had a wonderful time with no injuries and great weather.
We stayed at this beautiful lodge call "The Miners Club" for those of you who know my family and the story of the "Moses Motel" you can see that this was deffinatly top of the line!

Friday night we did not do much because we got in so late. Mom and Dad picked Murray and I up from the airport and we went strait to a hotel to get some sleep! Saturday we moved into "The Miners Club" and got to see Brooks and Leigh.
We all ventured out into the snow and walked around "The Caynons" resort and acted as if we were 12 years old again.
I even got to teach Murray about the "World Wide Web" Sunday Brooks and Leigh had to return to Dallas for business and the rest of us went to The Canyons Ski Resort.
We stoped for lunch and ate with Mom and Dad. Agian for those of you who know the Whittington's ot is huge that we ate at the lodge and did not bring our own lunch! :) Even Mom skied!

Tuesday we went to Park City Ski Resort and had another beautiful day!

This is George at Park City! He looks like a professinal.

Wednesday thru Friday we went skied at The Canyons Ski Resort and even took coffee breaks.

Look at all the pretty snow!

Group Shot!

More pretty pictures of snow and mountains!

Friday it was snowing really bad! Look at it come down! Snow baby snow!

Saturday before we got on the plane we went downtown and toured the Tabernacle.

We had a great time and can't wait to see where we go next year!
